This past Tuesday I traveled to Gush Katif in Gaza to plant trees in honor of Tu B'shvat. It was quite an amazing experience. Gush Katif is absolutely beautiful, the people are so welcoming. We had a great day planting trees, touring several communities, visiting the second largest greenhouse in the Middle East, watched a glorious sunset on the beach, and davened mincha with a bunch of brave young soldiers outside in terrific weather. The trip was written up by Arutz-7> and there's even a picture of our group in the article.
Life is great here, things are progressing, and I wish you all could be here. Come join us soon.
